Even Now, God is Faithful–a poem

“Even now, God is faithful,” I tell myself often. Like a lot of humans, I sometimes forget or doubt God will do what he says. Repeating this phrase strengthens my resolve to believe in Jesus and in the Bible. It reminds me to hold onto hope. Could you use this reminder too?

Believing in God’s faithfulness means trusting him to keep his promises.

Of course, confidence in God comes more naturally when life is going well. “God is faithful!” is easy praise when things go our way. The same declaration, however, does not come as quickly when tough situations arise. Instead, stress grabs our attention and feeds our uncertainty.

In the midst of trials, our trust in God may start slipping. Recognizing this, we can take time to be still, then whisper the reminder, “Even now, God is faithful.”

He promises to love, strengthen, and provide for us always. His care will not waver with our circumstances. God is the one constant we can rely on in this ever-changing world.

The poem and Bible verses below declare God’s faithfulness. I hope they encourage you on your journey.

Even Now, God is Faithful

Even now, God is faithful.
He always abides where you are.
Living among the hurts of your heart,
he heals wounds into testimony scars.

Even now, God is faithful.
He cares about your fears.
Breathing peace into your spirit,
he brings calming strength to you here.

Even now, God is faithful.
He fulfills his good plans.
Ordaining all things to have purpose,
his glory reigns and commands.

Even now, God is faithful.
He forgives sins confessed.
Patient with his justice,
he longs for all to repent.

Even now, God is faithful.
Forever, he protects and provides.
With unconditional love, he sent Jesus
to bear our sins and bridge the divide.

Even now, God is
faithful,
never changing,
the great I AM.
Fulfilling every promise with
immeasurable grace,
he keeps you safe in
the palm of his hand.
